2. Position the Fasteners: Align the screw hole of the fastener with the center of each joist underneath. This alignment should be repeated along the entire length of the board, ensuring that the fasteners are properly positioned.

3. Screw in Place: Insert the screws into the fasteners, but only tighten them halfway at this stage. Do not fully tighten the screws yet.

4. Attach the Next Board: Carefully slide the second board into position, making certain that the fasteners sit securely within its groove. Follow the same procedure for installing screws and fasteners on the other side of this second board as you did with the first.
